Who is ProAdSpec?
ProAdSpec, Inc. is owned and operated by Dan and Terry McIlroy. The business was opened in July, 1990 by Dan and within 14 months was in a position for Terry to add her considerable talents. We spent the next 26 years working together and making it work through the highs and lows of business ownership until Terry retired in 2017.
Both of us are strong believers in educating ourselves about our industry and marketing in general. Dan currently holds a MAS (Master Advertising Specialist) designation degree from the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) and has served on 3 national committees.
Terry's retirement has removed her from the day to day workings of ProAdSpec but she is always available to help when needed. She is currently serving as an Alder on the Sun Prairie City Council and finding that running a city of 35,000 is very involved. She also continues to be an active advocate for our public library system.
Dan continues to be involved in different community projects and generally helping others where he can. In 2022, after 10 years of service, he retired as head umpire and trainer for the City of Sun Prairie Adult Softball program.
We enjoy the challenge of helping clients meet their marketing goals through the use of promotional marketing. Each day brings something different and new ways to use the thousands of products we have at our disposal.
